Clarence R. ‘Zim’ Zimbelman passed away January 26, 2012 in Boulder Colorado. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ruth, of Boulder, as well as his daughter, Margot (Ray) LaPanse, and two grandchildren, Christopher and Alaina LaPanse, of Superior, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joan Dowdy. Zim lived in Pueblo for 32 years, and retired in 1981 as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Frying Pan – Arkansas Project, Bureau of Reclamation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Philips Chapel at Frasier Meadows Retirement Community, 350 Ponca Place, Boulder, Colorado.
