Connor Ambrose Perkins
Just over 20 years ago, Connor brought his light into this world on January 29, 1996 in Columbia, MD.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on April 15, 2016.
Connor brought and shared his light to everyone he met. An avid rugby player, youth coach and referee, he helped many of his friends to find and enjoy the game of rugby. He was an Eagle Scout who loved nature, plus a passionate steward of the Earth; one of his final acts on this Earth was to clean out the trash from a stream near his sister’s school in California. Always a seeker, he loved learning more about the world’s philosophies, beliefs and languages; he was currently learning all about Denmark, where he was heading later this year for a semester of study there. Ever the dreamer, his quest was for a healthy planet with happy people upon it – he always invited everyone to that possibility. He was a staunch advocate for everyone to bring forth their true selves and their talents into this world.
One of the things that enhanced the light in Connor’s eyes was supporting his sister, Christy, in bringing her talents to the world. To honor Connor’s light, his family requests (in lieu of flowers) that a donation be made to support Christy’s education as a singer/songwriter at: https://www.gofundme.com/wpnxpg
A Celebration of Life will be hosted by Connor’s parents, Mark and Julie, and his sister, Christy, on Saturday June 11, 2016 from 7:30 – 9:30 pm (ceremony begins promptly at 8:15 pm) at his family home in Boulder, CO. Please e-mail Julie at [email protected] with your RSVP plus any photos or stories that you would like to include in the memory book.
