A reception will begin this Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 2:00 PM in the new Champions Center at Folsom Field in Boulder. A Celebration of Vandy's Life will follow the reception, beginning at 2:30 PM. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served following the Celebration of Life service.

David Vandervelde, aka Vandy, passed away on November 3, 2015 at home. David was born on March 11, 1942 in Salina, Kansas to Benjamin and Francis (Onstad) Vandervelde. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, LaDonna (Largo) Vandervelde; sons Greg and Mark Vandervelde; wife of Greg, Michelle; brother Richard Vandervelde, his wife, Jane; and grandchildren; Regan, Mason, Chloe and Clayton. Dave was an avid outdoorsman, sportsman and had particular interest in supporting all things related to the CU Buffs!
