She grew up in Boulder and graduated from Boulder High School. In May of 1971 she married Larry Meeks in Sterling. The family moved to several different cities before settling in Boulder. She worked for Neo Data for 20 years, and then at the Justice Center for 10 years. She loved her dog and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Dee is survived by Larry Meeks; three daughters, Joann Meeks of Lakewood, Danielle Meeks of Boulder, Linnea Meeks of Lakewood; two brothers, Scott & Bruce Valentine and three grandchildren, Kayla Meeks 19, Alissa Meeks 18 and Nathan Meeks 10.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 7th at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Pl., Boulder. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Boulder.
