Edna Wasilewski

Mrs. Wasilewski was born May 14, 1924, to Charles and Elizabeth Winkler in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She graduated from Nicolet High School in West DePere, Wisconsin and went on to attend business school. Edna worked for Sears Roebuck and Company in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Cutler-Hammer Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Zoff-Davis Publishing Company in Chicago, Illinois.

While working in Chicago, she met Walter Wasilewski. They were married on December 1,1946 in Green Bay. Following employment opportunities, they moved from Green Bay to Detroit, then to the small town of Greenville, Michigan where they raised their two children Bruce and Holly. In 1989 she and Walter moved to Longmont, Colorado.

Edna is preceded in death by her husband Walter, her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Athey, (Clara) and Mrs. James (Adeline) Stroud. She is survived by her son Bruce (Kay) Wasilewski of Charlevoix, Michigan and daughter Holly (John) Keenan of Longmont.

Cremation is in the care of Crist Mortuary in Boulder, Colorado. A private family memorial service will be held at the Mountain View Memorial Park at a later date.
