Betty Fitch passed away on March 24, 2013 after a long illness. She was born Elizabeth R. Graham in Iowa of Harold Graham and Cassie Ruth Foster Graham. She married Don E. Fitch in June 1940. She was a homemaker for 25 years and was very active in Girl Scouts. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Kirby-Cole of Longmont, CO; Sally F. Cloyd of Bluffton, SC and Suzy Williams of Golden, CO. She had 2 grandsons, Don and Robert; 2 granddaughters, Carey and Ashley and one great grandson, Connor. As her daughters grew older, she worked at Diamond Lumber in the accounting department. After retirement she volunteered at Boulder Community Hospital in the gift shop for 14 years. Service will be held at the Villas Retirement home, 3350 30th St. on Monday, April 1 at 3 p.m. and interment will be at Fort Logan. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to TRU (Hospice Care).
