Emmabel Boden

She lived a long, wonderful, and full life serving her God, family, and friends. Prior to her birth, Emmabel's parents, Frank Clarence and Emma Josephine Tidrick along with their two boys, Floyd and Ralph, moved from Ohio to Boulder purchasing 12 acres on Valmont Road. Emmabel was born in Boulder, Colorado on April 7, 1923.

Emmabel attended Pleasant View Elementary School and graduated from Boulder High School in 1941. She worked at Neodata (Esquire) for ten years and the University of Colorado's Finance and Audio Visual Departments for 23 years retiring in 1984.

She was a faithful and active member of her church, serving as Board Member, Missionary President, Sunday school teacher, and pianist. She attended Boulder First Church of the Nazarene, Bible Missionary Church, and Longmont Church of the Nazarene. Along with her numerous church activities, Emmabel served her community by volunteering for Boulder County and other local organizations.

Emmabel married Ervin Wayne Boden (deceased) on October 12, 1941 and had three children, Janice, Donald (deceased), and Duane. She is survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service for Emmabel will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3016 Kalmia Ave, Boulder, CO 80301. A memorial service will occur Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Longmont Nazarene Church, 2111 Mountain View Ave, Longmont, CO 80501.
