Falyn Leayna Fancher
July 25, 1983 – July 2, 2020
Falyn Fancher was born in Englewood, Colorado to Lisa Lombardi and Rick Fancher. She grew up in the Denver area graduating from Centaurus High School in 2002. Falyn also completed a vocational training program through Chinook for cosmetology. Falyn then completed her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure at Front Range Community College and worked in this role in Boulder, Colorado.
Falyn and her sister Christine moved in 2006 to Daytona Beach, Florida, where they were reunited with their father Rick, and were joined shortly thereafter by their mother Lisa. Falyn obtained her CNA license in Florida and began nursing school at Daytona State College. She worked as a CNA in both Daytona and in Deltona in nursing homes and assisted living facilities in various levels of care. Falyn enjoyed living by the beach, as she felt most at home near the ocean and enjoyed the warm weather. Falyn took great pride in her work and always did her best to care for those in need and make them comfortable. She was very nurturing and always had a great love for caring for babies and children. Family was very important to Falyn and she and her sister Christine were very close. Falyn often acted as a caregiver and kept a watchful eye over Christine. They grew up sharing July as their birth month as their birthdays were 3 years and 1 day apart.
After many years in Florida, Falyn moved back to Colorado in 2018 to once again join her family, and she began living with her mother Lisa. Falyn reinstated her CNA license in Colorado and once again spent time working in assisted living and had plans to return to nursing school to complete her degree.
Falyn fought hard to overcome many challenges that she faced in her life. She was determined and dedicated to reaching her goals. Falyn’s life ended far too soon, and she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Her family takes pride in knowing that her hard work was paying off as she was on the right path to reach her goals.
Falyn was preceded in death by her sister Christine M. Fancher, grandmother Alice Jean (Hoefner) Lombardi, grandfather Michael W. Lombardi, grandfather Melton Fancher, uncle Lance K. Cook, aunt Denise M. (Lombardi) Marshall, and uncle Michael W. Lombardi II.

Falyn, You are a rose among daffoddils. Falyn, you were able to light the darkest rooms. You immediately took a chunk of my heart the first time I saw, you. That chunk never came back to me. I am now missing even more of my heart on this terrible news. Falyn, you were angelic to me. Now you are that angel to us all. Those, who had the great privelage to know you. As well, now to the ones who missed that awesome opportunity. God bless you. You are missed and loved immensely.
