Harvey was born on August 1, 1920 to Frederic George Fewkes and Victoria Robitaille in Waterford, NY. On May 23, 1945 he married Claire E. Rousseau in Tiverton, RI. Harvey worked as a safety director for various dairies in New York. He also served in the U.S Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Harvey was a member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, American Legion and PT Boat, Inc. in both Rhode Island and New York. Harvey was a very good husband, father and provider. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all.
Survivors include his children Jeanne-Claire Deobil and Frederica Acora; grandchildren Erin Capra, Lowell Selfridge, Kai Van Zandt, Mira Van Zandt, Kasey Selfridge, Brett Dill and Eric Dill; great-grandchildren Elise Morteuseu and Giovanni Capra. He was preceded in death by daughter Victoria Selfridge.
Funeral Services will be at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Parish Center Chapel. Arrangements under the direction of Crist Mortuary, Boulder, CO.
