Howard Krasnoff of Boulder passed away at home on October 3, 2013 at 89 years of age with his loving wife Charlotte by his side. He was a WWII veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He was Chief of Psychiatric Social Work at Ft. Logan Mental Health for 25 years and then worked in his own private practices providing compassionate guidance and support to countless clients for over 50 years. He was a passionate gardener, photographer, loved nature, enjoyed travel, and was an avid collector of stamps, rocks and coins.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lois. He is survived by his wife Charlotte and his four children, Renee Mitchell, Cynthia Tamara, Kevan Krasnoff and Eve Swanson, their spouses and eight grandchildren. Howard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather.
Graveside services will be held 9:30 on October 7, 2013 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 at Nevei Kodesh, 1925 Glenwood Drive, Boulder, CO . Donations in Howard’s memory may be made to Congregation Bonai Shalom Flood Relief, Family Hospice or local V.F.W.
