Jim died April 18 at home of respiratory failure after a lengthy illness. He was born in New York City Jan 10, 1962, the son of John and Marilyn Gary. He came to Boulder with his parents in 1963. He graduated from Fairview High School and Colorado Mountain College. He was a member of the army reserve, worked for Boulder Valley School District as a bus driver, and owned and operated a video store in Gunbarrel.
He is survived by his parents, a brother, Charles Gary of Palo Alto, California, two nephews and three aunts.
