Jerry Eugene Ruckman of Boulder died November 1 at the age of 86. He was born February 16, 1935 in Milford, Nebraska. His parents were Charles Ruckman and Belva (Bellair) Ruckman. He married Frances (Gallagher) Merrigan on November 21, 1975 in Boulder. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1962. He worked for IBM and Hewlett Packard, and retired in 2006. He enjoyed his family, auto racing, camping and traveling. Jerry is survived by his three stepsons, Kevin Merrigan (Mariette) of Ft. Lauderdale, Sean Merrigan (Patty) of Boulder and Brian Merrigan (Celeste) of Arvada. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Chase Merrigan (Kristina), Tyler Merrigan, Kellen Merrigan (Jenni), Matthew Merrigan and Ethan Merrigan, as well as three great grandchildren, Victoria, Landon and Vaughn.
