I am so very sorry for your tears, may the God of tender mercies comfort your broken hearts, and give your family his peace to help you thru these dark days. Revelation 21:3,4

I did not know Jody well but my heart is broken for you , her family. I knew Jody through Cabi parties and Island Farm where she always made me feel at ease She would always give me confidence when trying on clothes that went way beyond “ just “ clothes. Her style and smile were infectious. I’m so sorry

Your mom was a high school friend of mine, we connected again via Facebook when we realized we both lived in Colorado, we are in Estes Park. We enjoyed a few lunches together in the last few years.
My heart breaks for you, this was senseless. Your mom was a light in this dark world. Her smile and her genuine care for people shone through every time I saw her. She was beautiful, energetic, caring, and she loved her family more than anything else.
We have lost an angel on earth, and no words of explanation can be said for the loss her family is suffering.

When I think of Jody I see her beautiful eyes, sparkly spirit and giving smile. I had known her since the Applause days. In recent years we had been meeting occasionally for coffee and sharing stories about the retail world, families, and the goals we were each working towards. Jody loved her family fiercely. Her girls were included in every talk we had. May they feel the love and support of the community during this incredibly challenging time.

My heart goes out to Jody's family. We were friends and shop owners Mall. She always made me happy even if it was only for a brief visit where ever we were.

Jody and I were best friends in grade school, until my family moved away. She was kind, generous, happy and silly. Although I hadn't seen her in decades, her friendship from that young age had a positive and lasting effect on my life. She was a true friend. My husband knows her name from the countless times I have told childhood stories that mostly include Jody. I have always wondered how her life turned out. I am not surprised to hear that she was creative and successful and loved by so many people.
I am so very sorry for the pain and loss that has been laid on all of you. I hope you can find some peace in her memory.

Jody, along with her friend, Susan Percy, and I rented a house together in the Spring of 1975 in Rindge, NH, while we attended Franklin Pierce University.

The 3 of us could have made a TV sit-com because we were all so different, but we were a Terrific Trio when it came time to party and enjoy college life. Both Jody and Susan dated two friends of mine, Richard and Rob, but my relationship and theirs ended when Jody transferred out and Susan went on to parts unknown.

Jody was an incredible person; rarely sad and very funny, with an old soul. The amazing irony in all of this is that Jody and I were separated by 30 miles for the last 20 years and didn't know it; I live near Fort Collins, CO, and she was in Boulder. I have regrets that I never saw her again after she left Franklin Pierce.

Thanks, Jody, for being you.
