Beloved husband, father and son passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28 at
the age of 43. Brooks was the loving husband of Sara and adoring father of Ashley, Cayden
and stepdaughter Bella. He was a beloved son to Audrey and Tim Fisher. Brooks is also
survived by siblings Matthew, Lilah and Nina.
Brooks was graduated from the Taft School in Connecticut and Middlebury College in
Vermont. He was a founder and board member of Centerstone Technologies and PedPed LLC.
Brooks was an accomplished outdoorsman, athlete and rancher in Boulder, Colorado.
He was happiest walking on his land at Whisper Mountain Ranch. He was a passionate
conservationist and firm believer in the reality of global warming, helping to produce an
upcoming documentary by his friend Jim Balog.
Brooks had a remarkable sense of humor and love of life and family. He will be forever
missed.
Brooks’ life will be celebrated on Friday, February 2nd in Gold Hill, Colorado.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to any environmental cause.
