
Laura Lee Fischer age 80 passed away on February 19, 2022 in Boulder, CO . Born on February 16, 1942 to William & Nan Owens. Laura married Micheal Fischer on Dec 22, 1963 at Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je in Bailey, CO. Loving wife, nurturing Mother, and passionate teacher, Laura devoted herself and her life to God and family. Incredible empathy for people was her greatest strength and teaching children her true passion. With strong conviction, Laura was gracious in tough times, stepping up to whatever challenge life gave her, wile always remaining steadfast in her faith. She continually sought creative ways to wholeheartedly serve her community and had a quirky sense of humor, which played a role in how she navigated her many world travels. Alongside her husband, she became a seasoned traveler, circumventing the globe twice and spending four adventurous years living in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Retiring outside of Boulder, Colorado, in the house that love built. , her time was spent tirelessly serving others, by continuing her ministry of teaching and welcoming a multitude of guests into her home. Laura's greatest legacy is her children, both family and all the ones she welcomed into her generous, loving, kind heart. She may have lost her battle with Alzheimer's , but her soul went to heaven and ultimately, she won the Grand Prize. May she rest in peace and know she is, and will always be Loved beyond measure.
She is survived by her husband Micheal Fischer, sisters Ivy Otto & Martha Owens, children, Keith, Mark & August, grandchildren, Destiny, Anna & John, great grandchildren, Ami & Mekhi.
