Lee was born December 16, 1969 in Morgantown W.V. She spent her early life in northern VA and attended VCU in Richmond, VA. She moved to Boulder with her mom, Susan Henderson in 1997. She came to love the Boulder area where she lived, worked, and made many friends.
Lee lived her life to the fullest during her time on earth. She had an enthusiastic love of life, a gregarious laugh and a joyful smile. She was fun loving, generous, and enjoyed helping her friends. Her many interests included writing, cooking, music, skiing, hiking, rafting, traveling and hanging out with her friends. She loved all holidays, especially Halloween. Lee also enjoyed many adventures and road trips with her mom.
Her lively spirit and generous heart will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held for Lee at Crist Mortuary 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO on Sunday, August 21st, at 1 p.m. A reception celebration will follow at the Boulder American Legion 4760 28th St. from 4-7p.m. Memorial donations in Lee's name may be given to Emergency Family Assistance Assoc. Boulder, or Humane Society of Boulder Valley. Arrangements under the direction of Crist Mortuary, Boulder, CO.
