My name is John Pedulla, and I attended St. Basil’s Prep with Mark in the 1970’s. He was a good friend, and fun to be around. In fact, in French class at St. Basil’s he would make me laugh so hard that we both got in trouble from the teacher.

I send my warm greetings to his family and loved ones. I visited Mark at his home around 1982, and enjoyed meeting his family.

I also look forward to seeing Mark in eternity where, no doubt, he will once again make me laugh. Only this time, we won’t get reprimanded for our troubles.

I attended high school with Mark, and for two years we were close friends until I left the school after tenth grade. I learned last week of his death, and want to tell his loved ones what a good friend and young man he was when I knew him all those years ago.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Mark. May his loving memories give all of you strength in this sad time.  He is now dancing with his wonderful mother whom we all loved so much.

Dear Noah, Mia and family,
     Words don't come easily right now and you have all been in my thoughts and prayers. I know this has been a shock for you and the rest of us and my tears have flowed daily thinking of the beauty, strength and love of your dad. More than anything what stands out to me is his love for both of you. While it may not have always been easy, I know that it was his love for you that made him proudest dad ever. 
    My prayers and love surround you in this time of turmoil, goodbyes, and next steps. I've heard that many people have shown up to honor your dad and support the two of you. I am grateful that it is so. And I look forward to seeing you, if you are in Boulder when I return September 22nd. 
    Much love and i will miss him very much. He will always be in my heart too. Always!
