

Born on July 18, 1986, in Bangor, Maine, Mike spent part of his early life growing up in Arizona, where the sunshine and open landscapes suited his adventurous spirit. He later spent the last of his childhood in Colorado—a place that always drew him back and one he proudly considered home.
From an early age, he loved being active and thrived in sports, carrying that passion with him throughout his life. In high school and college, he played baseball—primarily as a pitcher—and led his high school team to the state championship, an accomplishment he always remembered with pride. The game became one of the great joys of his life, giving him lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and countless stories he loved to share.
Throughout his life he remained passionate about sports, and in later years he especially loved spending time on the golf course, enjoying both the challenge of the game and the camaraderie that came with it.
Mike had a charismatic presence and an infectious energy that made people feel welcome wherever he went. He was known for his wicked sense of humor and lightning-quick wit, always ready with a joke or comment that could lift someone’s spirits and bring a smile to their face. Honest and confident in his opinions, Mike knew his own mind and wasn’t afraid to share it, earning the respect and admiration of those around him.
He thrived in social settings and was always ready for the next adventure—whether it meant heading to a sports game, catching a concert, or simply spending time surrounded by friends. His friendships meant the world to him, and he nurtured those bonds with loyalty, humor, and genuine care.
Mike also appreciated life’s simple joys. He loved collecting sports cards and was always on the lookout for the next great hot sauce to try—small passions that reflected his curiosity and enthusiasm for life.
Professionally, Mike built a successful career as a mortgage loan officer. He took pride in his work and was known for his professionalism, dedication, and ability to guide clients through important financial decisions with care and expertise.
He is survived by his father, Gary; his mother, Toni; his sister, Jennifer; and a veritable tribe of extended family members and dear friends who will continue to carry his memory forward.
Mike will be remembered for his humor, his honesty, his loyalty, and the unmistakable warmth he brought into the lives of those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3016 Kalmia Avenue in Boulder with a Celebration of Life service to follow at Noon, at the Niwot Hall, 195 2nd Avenue, Niwot, CO
