To describe Myron's essence is very hard to capture in a few words. Through his faith Myron was able to accept his life changing injury of paraplegia. Myron made no excuses and moved forward on adapting to new challenges. He was a very loving and giving husband and father. He was your best friend, compassionate, kind, and met every challenge with a smile and determination. His creative spirit inspired others. Myron touched everyone he met. His attitude when life challenges went different than expected was to say "this is all part of life's rich pageant."
Myron was a Warrant Officer during the Viet Nam war and flew cobra helicopters during his tour. After discharge from the Army Myron married Susan Johnson from Indiana and moved to Miami Florida. Myron received his Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Miami.
In 1977 Myron and Susan moved to Boulder, Colorado where Myron became an engineer for AT&T. After retiring from AT&T he volunteered his time at the University of Colorado Science Discovery Department teaching children. He taught robotics, computer animation and electronics.
Myron is survived by his wife Susan of 45 years, his son Jason and his brother Jerry Szwed of Miami, Florida.
