Patrick Allen Conner

Patrick (Pat) Allen Conner, born on February 16, 1955, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on September 8th 2025. Pat was the son of Dan Wells Conner and Loretta Jean Heintzelman. He graduated from Illinois Valley Central High School, where he was affectionately known as “Chico,” and later earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.

On March 9, 1985, Pat married Janis Marie Hurst, and together they built a life filled with love. Pat was a proud father to Timothy Patrick Conner and Megan Kristine Simeone (Conner), and a cherished father-in-law to Alphonse Andrew Simeone. His greatest joy was his grandson, Enzo Conner Simeone.

Pat is also survived by his brother, Michael D. Conner, and his stepmother in-law, Emily Conner, both of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pat dedicated over 30 years of his career to FMH Material Handling in Denver, Colorado, enabling him to be a great provider for his family. He served on various city councils in Thornton and Firestone, Colorado, and refereed soccer for the NASA youth organization in Thornton. Pat’s love for gardening, nature, and time spent at the Conner family cabin in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, brought him peace and happiness.

Pat will be remembered for his generosity, commitment to community, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
