Randi Mildred Opsahl passed away on November 18, 2018, in Boulder, Colorado. She was born on July 24, 1940, in New York City and grew up in the Chicago, Illinois area. Randi attended the Arlington School District from the 6th grade through the 12th grade graduating in 1958 from Arlington High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. After high school, Randi took courses to extend her secretarial skills and worked as a secretary and office manager for a branch sales office in Chicago.
After several years, Randi moved to Denver, Colorado and then to Boulder, Colorado where she had a long career with the National Center for Atmospheric Research. She last worked for the City of Boulder Colorado. Randi enjoyed sewing as well as learning new subjects and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. In August 2019 her brother took Randi to a place in the Colorado mountains which she loved and where she will be for all time She is survived by her brother George Opsahl of Lake Oswego Oregon and survived by her brother's children; her nephew Erik Opsahl, and her niece Ingrid Arnett.
