Robert J. Spence of Boulder, CO, formerly of Kenosha, WI passed away December 28, 2014 in Louisville, CO. He was born July 21, 1925 in Kenosha to James and Margaret (Jungwirth) Spence. Robert served in the Army in WWII with the 10th Mountain in Italy. He married Angeline (Angie) Iaquinta on April 3, 1948 in Kenosha, WI. Robert worked as a layout inspector for American Motors (Chrysler). Family and friends were important to Robert, he was a quiet man, but always had a playful glint in his eyes. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Angie, children Bobby and Lisa Jean; siblings Marjorie Zakrzewski and Charles Spence. He is survived by his children Ken Spence and Karyn Spence (David Jones) and grandchildren Julie and Nicole Spence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 31, 2015 at 10am at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place in St. George Cemetery. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 30, for 6-8 pm.
