Stefan Jan Malek was born May 27, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA to Stefan and Anne Malek. He grew up in Little Falls, NY & graduated from Little Falls High School in 1962. During high school he was in a couple of bands, which played events around Little Falls. He attended Clarkson College of Technology from which he graduated in 1966 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Polaroid and General Electric in Boston, MA, then took a job with Storge Tek in Boulder, CO in 1980. He later worked for various technology companies in the Boulder and Longmont area. He worked as a ski instructor at Eldora for one season then Loveland Ski Area for 20+ years. Steve also coached soccer for FC Boulder and BJS for a number of seasons. He was an avid fly fisherman who also loved: guitars/music, skiing, soccer, sailing, airplanes, nature, friendship and everything in between. He is survived by son Jeffrey, daughter Krista and brother Paul. Services will be held at Crist Mortuary at 2:00 on Friday December 12th.
