Stephen Toby Zamora

Stephen Toby Zamora was born in Boulder, Colorado on December 10, 1955 to Gabriel “Gabe” and Margaret Zamora, as one of four children. Stephen grew up in Boulder CO, attended Sacred Heart of Jesus School, Casey Junior High School, and graduated from Boulder High School in 1974. While attending school, Stephen received numerous athletic and artistic awards, including MVP of his football team. Stephen resided in Colorado his entire life, was a life-time fan of the Denver Broncos and loved attending the Colorado Buffaloes football games with his dad. Also, he was very artistic and enjoyed listening to music, and playing his guitars and trumpet.

Stephen was employed by his father’s construction company, Zamora Construction, for a number of years prior to working at IBM. Stephen was part of a closely knit family and was especially fond of spending quality time with his four nieces.

Stephen is survived by his sister Lillian Zamora and brother-in-law Daniel Dull, his brother Christopher Zamora, his sister Angela Hartline and brother-in-law Kerry Hartline and his nieces, Melissa Little, Morgan Zamora, Jessica Hartline, and Kelly Buzzell (Hartline).

A visitation will be held Monday, May 22, 2023, at 10:00 am at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose PL, Boulder CO 80301, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am. After the funeral service, a committal service will be held at Green Mountain Cemetery, 290 20th Street, Boulder CO 80302 at 1:00 pm.
