Born at home in Longmont, CO and died at home in Boulder, CO. She is survived by her parents Edwin and Ruby Sharp of Superior, CO; daughter Thea Rounsaville and her husband Travis of Fort Collins, CO; brothers William Barela of Denver, CO, Jeffrey Barela of Superior, CO, and Roland Sharp and his wife Maggi of Loveland, CO. She is preceded in death by brother Steve Barela.
Tempest was a talented cook and frequently catered for events and private residences. She loved animals and supported the Boulder Humane Society. She loved the mountains of her beloved home of Boulder. Tempest is loved so dearly by her family and will be forever missed.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013, 10am at A Spice of Life Event Center (next to Flatirons Golf Course), 5706 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder. In lieu of flowers donations in Tempest’s honor can be made to Mental Health Partners, www.mhpcolorado.org.
