Timothy John Schwander, a longtime resident of Boulder, passed away at his residence on January 2, 2011. On April 3, 1963 Tim was born to Byron D. and Monna (Ingham) Schwander in Hinsdale, Illinois. Tim loved his two children, enjoyed camping, river rafting, bicycling, and most recently cooking. Tim enjoyed coaching his son’s South Boulder Football team when Colin was a boy. He is survived by his son; Colin Schwander and his daughter; Courteney Schwander both of Boulder. Tim is the brother of Mike Schwander of Castle Rock, Jeff Schwander of Longmont, and Alletha Troxel of Longmont. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life open house is scheduled for Saturday, January 8th, 2011, from 1:00-4:00p.m. at the North Boulder Recreation Center, 3170 N. Broadway.
