

Vera Louise was born in Doole, Texas May 5, 1933. She was the youngest child of Jodi Jesse and Paldora Rowe and grew up in Iraan, Texas with her three siblings.
During High School, Vera excelled in volleyball, tennis, and cheerleading. She graduated Iraan High School in 1950. In 1952 she married Kenneth Forsberg and eventually came to live in Colorado. Where they owned and operated the family business, Baseline Industries and raised their family. More than anything else in the world, Vera Louise loved and cherished her family. For many years she served on the PTA and Booster Club for Lyons Jr./Sr. High School and was known for her delicious Chili. She was a true Matriarch who taught us all that, “no one will take care of you, but you.” And “pretty is as pretty does.”
Her soul returned to our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior on August 6, 2025. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Louise Forsberg, and her siblings, Mary, Sheryl (Sonny), and Vircille. and is survived by her children, Robert Edwin Forsberg, his wife Leona, and their children Tana, Shannon, Tatiana, and Lauren; Eric Carl Forsberg, his wife Jackie, and their children Cecile and Christa; Donald Kenneth Forsberg and his children Justin and Brandon; Kirsten Mary Cunningham and her daughter Cheryl. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Colton, Talia, Makena, Maddox, Olenna, Evora, Matthew, Luka, Nora, Marko, Grace, Emma, Cheyenne, Kaden, Gunner, and Hayden, and her beloved dog Walter.
