She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Parker Sr., son Robert Parker Jr. (Bobbie), daughters Virginia (Ginny) Matthews, Nell Collins, and Brenda Parker-West (Ron), nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Maude and Arter Crews, three brothers, and two sisters. She was a member of the Elks Club Doe’s Drove 157.
Visitation will be 5–7:00 PM on Thursday, October 7, 2010 with Services at 11:00 AM Friday, October 8, 2010 at Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton, Florida 34203. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3507 E. Frontage Road, Suite 300, Tampa, Florida 33607.
