She was a graduate of Southeast High School and the State College of Florida.
Amy was a long-term employee of RESPEC in Sarasota, where she was held in the highest regard; loved and admired by all of those she worked with.
On weekends, Amy was a dedicated volunteer at the Manatee County Animal Welfare center, where she shared her immense love for dogs. The gift of her time and love touched many lives at the shelter as well as in her community.
Amy was an organ donor, continuing her legacy of a giving nature and selflessness, allowing others a second chance at life in her memory.
Her warmth, compassion, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
As a loving wife and mother, Amy is survived by her husband, Millard “Jay” Roberts, her daughters, Thea Noelle and Nora Grace, her sister, Erin Munoz (Jose), her niece, Olivia, her mother, Cheryl Columber (David), and her father, Robert Wassel (Cindy).
A memorial service for Amy’s family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home in Manasota Memorial Park, located at 1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton, FL. The family will receive guests starting at 10:00 am, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 am.
