Ana Castillo of Bradenton Florida died peacefully on the 13th of March 2015 at the age of 91 years old. She was born in the Dominican Republic on December 5th 1923 to Adriano Castillo and Maria M. Cruz. Nana Ana as she was lovingly known by her children and grandchildren is survived by her sister Eulalia Cruz and brothers Jaime and Claudio, her five children Rose M. Rodriguez, Luis O. Montilla, Maritza A. Garcia, Diogenes I. Montilla and Mildred C. Montilla, twelve grandchildren Santiago Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Henry Rodriguez, Deborah Ann Garcia Carey, Lisa Marie Garcia, Sabrina Montilla, Jennifer Sanchez, Christine Montilla, Katie Sanchez, Allan Montilla, Yvette Montilla and Dennis Montilla. She also had eight great grandchildren. Memorial donations can be made to her favorite charity organization St. Jude’s Children Hospital. We will miss her dearly and our “Iron Lady” will forever live in our hearts.
