Betty E Hicks

Betty E Hicks, age 90, of Plant City, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Betty was born May 28, 1930 in Bradenton, Florida to the late Taylor H. Johnson Sr. & the late Dixie Iona (Romine) Johnson. She worked for Winn-Dixie in their deli department for 30 years. Betty was a loving grandma to her eight grandchildren & her 14 great-grandchildren. She was loved by everyone see met. To those close to here she was a little sassy and always enjoyed a good laugh with family and friends. Especially on a Saturday evenings, while enjoying a cold one and grilled food with her company.

Betty is survived by her loving stepchildren; Henry C. Hicks Jr. (Sheri Hicks) Richard S. Hicks Sr. (Mary C. Hicks). She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Nicole (Hicks) Pennington, Scott Hicks, Stephanie (Hicks) Phemester, Eric Hicks, Richard Hicks Jr., Donald Hicks & Bethany Hicks. Along with 14 great-grandchildren to forever cherish her memory.

She is preceded in death by her husband Henry C. Hicks Sr. who passed in 2017, and her siblings; Juanita Johnson , Taylor H. Johnson Jr., James C. Johnson, & Robert W. Johnson
