Caroline P Steward

Caroline Poling Steward, 89, of Bradenton, FL, went to be with the Lord June 4th, 2026. She was a Bradenton native. The most important decision of her life was made at nine years old, when she gave her life to Jesus and was baptized.

She was a graduate of Manatee High School. She worked at Bradenton Insurance for over 60 years and treasured every interaction. She not only assisted customers with their coverage needs but cared about their personal lives and encouraged them to pursue the Lord.

She married her husband of 58 years, Earl, in 1956. Two children followed, Lohri & Edward. Caroline cherished her family, loved the Lord, and enjoyed blessing others with her giving.

She always loved West Virginia, from traveling with her grandmother as a little girl in the summer to still going in her 80s. She delighted in traveling to new places in the United States with her brother, Trenton, and his wife Linda.

Caroline is preceded in death by her parents Gladys and Carl Poling, brothers, Billy (Patsy), Trenton (Linda), and son Edward (Christine). She is survived by her daughter, Lohri (Tim) of Plant City, FL, seven grandchildren, and multiple great-grandchildren.

Anyone that knew her knew she loved all shades of purple. She even had a purple-tiled bathroom! In her honor, please wear purple.

Her greatest joy would be that every person reading this would join her in Heaven.

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Romans 10:9-10: If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
