Cesarea Banda-Garcia

Cesarea Banda Garcia was born on February 25, 1945. She was the proud mother of five wonderful children: Raymunda, Gerarda, Guadalupe, Maria, and Gabriel. Her children loved her deeply and cared for her with unwavering devotion until the very end. They never left her side and treated her like the queen she truly was.

You might think, “That’s impossible—most children drift away once they start their own families.” But not her five. When Grandma wanted to travel between Mexico and the United States, her children made sure she could do so without ever worrying about money. They catered to her needs as much as possible, allowing her to live a beautiful life filled with love, comfort, and joy. Because of their care, Cesarea was able to enjoy not only her children, but also her 11 grandchildren and two wonderful great-grandchildren.

Cesarea loved each and every one of us in her own special way. She cherished family gatherings and did her best to keep everyone united. Even when things weren’t always perfect—when it wasn’t all rainbows and unicorns—she made sure we understood that the key to everything was unity and understanding.

She also found joy in the simple things. Her favorite hobbies included gardening, cooking, and embroidering—activities she approached with the same love and care she gave her family. Watching her telenovelas, tending to her flowers, and enjoying her morning huevos con chile verde with hot coffee were her favorite moments of peace. It was a bold combo only she could handle like a champ.

We loved and cared for her so deeply that our hearts ache knowing we won’t have her around anymore. But we understand she’s happy now, resting peacefully in heaven. We know she will always be watching over us. We will forever cherish her memory and remember her as the queen that she was.

Mi viejita chula—always smiling, always loving. I’ll never forget the way you cared for Jaden and me. I used to tell you, “échale ganas, abuelita,” and now I’m the one who has to echarle ganas. I miss you so much. You were ready to go, but I wasn’t ready to let you go. Save me a spot in heaven… you know your crazy granddaughter is going to need it.

Daniel:

Abuelita, recordar todo esto me hizo revivir tantos momentos hermosos. Desde cuando me corriste un amigo por llegar sin avisar, hasta cuando te preparé los dogos estilo Hermosillo y te encantaron tanto que me pediste más días después. Me quedo con esa alegría. Sé que estás con el abuelo y eso me da paz. Te amo y te recordaré siempre.

A visitation for Cesarea will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203 follow by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow services at Manasota Memorial Park.

Cesarea Banda Garcia nació el 25 de febrero de 1945. Fue la orgullosa madre de cinco hijos maravillosos: Raymunda, Gerarda, Guadalupe, María y Gabriel. Sus hijos la amaron profundamente y la cuidaron con una devoción inquebrantable hasta el final. Nunca se separaron de ella y la trataron como la reina que verdaderamente era.

Podrías pensar: “Eso es imposible—la mayoría de los hijos se alejan cuando forman sus propias familias.” Pero no sus cinco hijos. Cuando la abuelita quería viajar entre México y Estados Unidos, sus hijos se aseguraban de que pudiera hacerlo sin preocuparse por el dinero. Atendieron sus necesidades lo más posible, permitiéndole vivir una vida hermosa, llena de amor, comodidad y alegría. Gracias a sus cuidados, Cesarea pudo disfrutar no solo de sus hijos, sino también de sus 11 nietos y dos bisnietos maravillosos.

Cesarea nos amó a cada uno de nosotros de una manera especial. Apreciaba las reuniones familiares y hacía todo lo posible por mantenernos unidos. Incluso cuando las cosas no eran perfectas—cuando no todo eran arcoíris y unicornios—ella se aseguraba de que entendiéramos que la clave de todo era la unidad y la comprensión.

También encontraba alegría en las cosas simples. Sus pasatiempos favoritos incluían la jardinería, la cocina y el bordado—actividades que realizaba con el mismo amor y cuidado que daba a su familia. Ver sus telenovelas, cuidar sus flores y disfrutar de sus mañanas con huevos con chile verde y café caliente eran sus momentos favoritos de paz. Una combinación valiente que solo ella podía manejar como una campeona.

La amamos y la cuidamos tanto que nuestros corazones duelen al saber que ya no la tendremos con nosotros. Pero entendemos que ahora está feliz, descansando en paz en el cielo. Sabemos que siempre nos estará cuidando desde arriba. Por siempre atesoraremos su memoria y la recordaremos como la reina que fue.
