He attended Lake Highlands High School class of 1979. David was the owner of a Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Dallas, TX. He Loved Fishing, Golf, Hunting and Video Gaming but he Loved Teasing people more than anything! David had a heart of gold and gave whatever he had if someone needed it. David loved life, he enjoyed taking his nieces and nephews camping, fishing, hunting…teaching them to love nature and to enjoy the outdoors. He had many gifts, his intelligence was infuriating at times because he used such big words but he was a man of knowledge, he loved history and science and when he had a stroke 4 years ago that took his ability to play golf and fish away, he spent most of his time reading or watching documentaries because he had a thirst for knowledge. He never gave up on life he adapted to his new normal. David was a man of God and he was ready to go when his time came because he knew who would be there waiting for him, not just Jesus but his dad, his cousin and his nephew, uncles and grandparents welcoming him to the eternal life.
David leaves behind his mother, Martha Bennett; daughter, Sarah Bennett; brother, Richard (Julie) Bennett and their children, Jessie Bennett, Megan Bennett, Justin Bennett, Jalie Bennett, Jadie Bennett, Shauna Humbert, Timmy Humbert, Zoey Humbert, Jakie Humbert, Jonathan Bennett and Jarrod Bennett; sister Lisa (Tom) Bennett-Blakeley, and their children, Ryan Ingle, Cassie Ingle, Trevor Ingle, Taylor Ingle, Jaxon Ingle-Chavez, Austin Ingle-Chavez and Spencer Lawrence; aunt, Peggy Felker; cousin-siblings, Marlin Felker and Marlowe Felker; ex-wife, Terri Harper and brother in kind, Doug Corzinne.
