David is survived by his loving wife Tammy, son Jeff, daughter Audra, one granddaughter, step-son Justin Jarvis, brother Gordon Hopper, sister Geneva Aycock of Georgia, four nephews and two nieces.
David was born in Rabun Gap, Georgia. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Manatee County Utilities Department, where he was an electrician.
He will be missed by the family and friends whose lives he touched.
Visitation is Wednesday, May 25th from 6–8:00pm and Funeral Services Thursday, May 26th at 10:00am at Manasota Memorial Funeral Home in Bradenton.
