Dustin was born on April 6, 1986, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to Kerry and Melodie VonDross. He graduated from Waukesha Christian Academy in 2004 before earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in business from Rollins College. Throughout his career, Dustin brought creativity, passion, and dedication to every role, including positions with Disney, Universal Studios, and most recently, David Weekley Homes, where he was respected for his professionalism and commitment.
Above all else, Dustin was a devoted family man and loyal friend who loved and cared for those closest to him. He married the love of his life, Tina, on January 2, 2016. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and adventure. Dustin found his greatest joy in being the father of their daughter, Arielle (5), and their son, Lucas (4). His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Dustin had a love for adventure and making memories. He enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers, playing soccer, swimming, singing, traveling the world with Tina, taking Disney cruises with his family, fishing…the list could truly go on forever. Whether exploring a new destination or simply spending time with those he loved, Dustin embraced life with warmth, humor, and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew him.
Dustin had a personal relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his faith was the foundation of his life. Throughout his battle with cancer, he remained steadfast in his trust in God and faithfully pointed others to Christ and prayer.
Dustin is survived by his beloved wife, Tina; his daughter, Arielle; his son, Lucas; his parents, Kerry and Melodie; his twin brother, Derek (Ashley); his brother, Jesse; his sisters, Michelle, Hailey, and Hannah (Joan); his nieces, Sloan and Sophia; his nephews, Josiah and Shepard; his father-in-law Dieter Gromadzki; mother-in-law Ulrike (mother) Gromadzki; his sister-in-law Tanja Hobby(Jeff), along with many other cherished family members and dear friends.

As we remember Dustin's life and the unwavering faith and courage with which he faced every challenge, we leave you with one of his favorite quotes:
“Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shout, ‘Do your worst, for I will do mine!’ Then the fates will know you as we know you.”
