For dearest Aunt Norma and all the family,  I am so sad for you. How we will miss our very special Uncle.  I have a particular memory from the days Jeff and I lived with Pepare.  We were ensconced in our "tent".....which was a card table covered over with a blanket....when a young Uncle Eddie came in.  To us he was all grown up but when I count the years Uncle Eddie was a quite a young man and so very kind.  He talked and joked with us and soon we all were laughing.  Eddie showed that kindness many times and again when my very young grandson Zachary was injured on the playground and broke his femur.   When I told him about this terrible injury   the two of you sent Zachary a large stuffed manatee to encourage and cheer him.  Even now, whenever Zach sleeps over, we bring out that manatee.   The injured toddler just turned 7.

I am privileged to have been able to call Eddie my Uncle and only regret that so many miles separated us.  I will always be grateful for all of the kindnesses shown me and my family by you and Eddie.
