Eleanor Mary Fairchild, age 80, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020. Eleanor was born July 16, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Mary Elizabeth Jarka Comstock and the late Albert Lewis Comstock. Eleanor graduated from Manderville High School in 1957 and then attended Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan.
For many years Eleanor was an equine trainer. She taught many how to ride and adequately care for the horses. She was blessed to have made a successful business from this passion. Eleanor also worked in a nursing home as an activities director. One of her favorite activities for the residents was arts and crafts. This was also something Eleanor often did on her personal time. She was always creating something. Eleanor was even talented enough to sell some of her creations.
Eleanor is survived by her son Jeffrey Blue and his wife Debby of Rochester Hills, Michigan; her sister Delores Comstock of Bradenton, Florida, and her brother Albert Comstock and his wife Betsy of Davison, Michigan. She also leaves behind three grandsons; 10 great-grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew, and many great-nieces and nephews to forever cherish her memory.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her son Curtis Burchett who passed in 2008. She is also preceded by her parents Mary Elizabeth Jarka Comstock and Albert Lewis Comstock.
