Georg is preceded in death by his parents Rudolf and Maria Kaufmann and brother Ewald Kaufmann (Dolores). He is survived by the love of his life and wife Janet L. Poitinger Kaufmann, daughter Kary Ann Foster (Matt), sons Georg Anthony Kaufmann (Kimie) and Kristopher Allan Kaufmann (Kristy), grandchildren Ally, Katie, Maddie, Tyler, and Alex, brothers Benno Kaufmann (Josie), Albert Kaufmann (Cindy), and sisters Imelda Dickey (James), Helen Vargas (David), Loretta Felan (David).
