George Richard Pasini, born June 16, 1942 passed away on October 28, 2022 in Bradenton, FL. George was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ, where he attended Park Ridge High School (Class of 1960) and subsequently attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute achieving a degree in Architecture. After graduating, he served our country as an officer in the Navy for four years in Western Australia before returning to the US to live a fulfilling and accomplished life in New Jersey, Texas, Virginia and finally Florida. A former executive for Circuit City Stores for over 20 years, he was instrumental in the growth and expansion that created the leading consumer electronics retailer in the country at the time. Upon retirement, George and his wife, Pam, retired to Longboat Key, FL, satisfying their love and appreciation for the tranquility of the water, the sunshine and those things they enjoyed doing together. Friends and family will remember George materially for his unrivaled wit and humor, notwithstanding his intelligence, integrity, creativity and selflessness. He spent his free time creating digital art, for which he won many awards and accolades, playing music on his guitar, the piano and the accordion, attending live events at the performing arts centers, reading, fine dining, travel across the globe and, most notably, time relaxing at the lake house enjoying friends and family. He is preceded by his first wife, Pamela Jean Pasini, his second wife and love of his life, Irmtraut Karin Pasini, and his son, Jason Sean Pasini. His legacy lives on through his son, Robin James Pasini (Richmond, VA),and his three grandchildren, Tyler Chase Pasini (Richmond, VA), Alyssa Marie Pasini (Richmond, VA) and Katelyn Olivia Pasini (Richmond, VA). He is also survived by his brother, Ronald W Pasini (Auburn, WA). Per George's express wishes, there will not be a memorial service and his ashes will be buried with his late wife Karin so that they will be reunited in death as they were in life. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
