Hector, or as I always called him, “Chef Maui” was always such a great and joyful person to be around. I worked with him during my times at the Bradenton Yacht Club, and he became my go to guy in the back of house. His smile and laugh were contagious, and he was one of the funniest guys I knew. I wish we would have gotten some more chances to fish together like we had planned. My heart hurts for the family and loved ones of Hector, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have many amazing memories with you Hector. It hurts so much without you here. All of our late night adventures whether that be fishing, making music, or just staying up playing the game together. I don’t think that there will be a point in my life where I’ll ever forget staying the night in the chick-fil-a parking lot with you because you won free food for a year. Or how about the time we drove all the way to Panama City for spring break just to turn around a day after we got there because we were broke already. Lol. Ninebay meant as much to you as it meant to me and I will continue to build our brand bigger and stronger than ever brother. Until we meet again.. I’m sure you’ll have many stories for me. Stay dangerous, kid. We all love and miss you down here.
