

Born March 25, 1919, in Woodland, CA, and came to visit Dave and Marlene Hutchings, in 1990, fell in love with Family, including Grandchildren Joey and Sarah, and Longtime Friend and Sister in Christ: Gladys LaBar. Helen moved to Bradenton in 2004, with Family.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, crazy 8’s and watching I Love Lucy. She was also a member of Meals on Wheels - Daybreak Adult Senior Club. Helen also was member of the Mall Walking Group in CA and with Gladys in Pa.
Helen was the Beloved Mother of David Hutchings, and his wife, Marlene, of Bradenton, FL and Donna Andrews, and her husband, Cecil, of Austin, TX. She was the beloved Grandmother of Sarah Elizabeth and Joseph James Hutchings, and his wife, Christine, along with Alyssa Andrews. She was also the beloved Great-Grandmother of two. Survivors also include Nephews, Billy and Tommy Hutchings of Sacramento, CA.
Helen was a cardiac arrest survivor from 2001 from PA. The Family would like to thank the Good Lord for 13 more years with her and would like to thank Dr. D. Amin, of Easton Hospital, PA; and Special Thanks to Dr. Enrique Rivera, Blake Hospital Cardiologist; RNP Mary Ellen Meiring; as well as thanks to local doctors, Drs. ElMasry and Dr. James Hanusa and RNP Kelly . Special thanks to also to Dr. Ahmati at Lakewood Ranch Hospital, Dr. G. Curtis. We want also to give special thanks to the following hospitals that assisted Helen on her quest to feel, get better and LIVE! ; Blake, Sarasota Memorial and Lakewood Ranch Hospital and ER staff, Bradenton HC Rehab and Physical Therapy. Also Special Thanks to Fusion Health Care and Molina Health Care their Staff and Nurses, Physical and Speech Therapists. Also Special Thanks to all our Friends and Nurses in our Creekwood Development! .Special Thanks also to Our Lady of the Angels Priests, Deacons, and Brothers and Sisters in Christ from the Christ Renews His Parish Retreat Groups and fellow Parishioners!
The family will receive friends Sunday April 6, 2014, at Manasota Funeral Home form 3-5:00 pm.
A Funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Manasota Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: St. John Vianney Catholic School, St. Petersburg, toward the Great Grandchildren Education, or 529 College Saving Plan for her Great-Grandchildren’s Education Fund.
