Born October 30, 1938, in Pataskala, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Claude Metzger and Florence Neville. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Jimmie and Kent Stires; and her sister, Margaret "Marty".
Survivors include her daughter, Robin Fausnaugh, of Palmetto; 4 grandchildren, Marsha Stires, of Jacksonville, Robby (Miranda) Fausnaugh, of Rhode Island, Cassie (Vickie) Rich, of Jacksonville, Jennifer Cecil, of Ohio; 7 great-grandchildren, Tricia, Josh, Austin, Jessica, Alexis, Natalia, and Anastasia; 1 great-great-grandchild, Brently.
The family will receive friends tonight from 5-7pm at Manasota Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Manasota Memorial Park.
