His graduate education years were at Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Va. Tech., where he started his military training in the Cadet Corps. He graduated in 1958 with a BS in Ceramic Engineering. Ceramic Engineering was a new and upcoming science which led him, after fulfilling his military obligations, to start a business of developing and manufacturing ceramic magnets. Jack’s knowledge and expertise gave him the opportunity to be a consultant or building every ceramic’s pant in the world. His love of knowledge and leadership training led him to earn two Master’s degrees. One, an MBA from Rutgers University, the other from New York University, plus becoming a meteorologist for the Air Force. After retirement, the Bryant family has made their home in Parrish, Florida.
At a later date the family will take Jack’s ashes to the Columbarium at Va. Tech. At that time there will be an informal memorial service for close family & friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Va. Tech Alumni Association, 902 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA 24061 (www.givingto.vt.edu).
