Many of you will remember him, along with Peggy, operating the Holmes Beach Contract Post Office for 21 years. In the back was his sign shop along with his beloved Shar Pei dogs. Prior to this Jack was involved in heavy duty construction.
In South Dakota he built dams on the Missouri, missile sites in Wyoming and Nebraska, highways in California and Illinois, among some of his projects. He was also responsible for dredging the submarine base in Georgia and the channel into Tampa Bay. Jack was a "Jack of all trades" who could fix and build anything.
He is survived by the Love of his Life of 37 years, Peggy.
Also survived by his children daughter Jill Williams, (Mark), and son Jay, owner of the sign shop on Manatee. His two grandchildren Angela Butler (Kyle) and JD Jackson (Alyssa) He has 5 great-grand children Charlotte, Jack, Luke, Henry and Wallace. His sister Debbie and cousins Rachel and Tim. He was predeceased by 2 infants, 2 brothers and his wife June.
