Jacquelynn Ann Russo

Jacki, born in Tampa Florida, and moved to Sarasota with her family as a child. She graduated from Sarasota High School in 1971, where she was active in Sarasota Sailor Circus and Chorus. Jacki was a contestant in the Miss Sarasota pageant in 1971, chosen as Miss Congeniality. She gained a standing ovation with her rendition of Somewhere over the rainbow.

Jacki traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally in her personal and professional life.

Jacki was a wonderful homemaker to her beloved two children and loved to bake goodies. When her children grew up she joined the professional world as a sales person for Lemon Bay Funeral Home, later joining SCI Corporation where she won many awards for sales and leadership.

Jacki later joined Merrill Gardens Assisted Living Facility as activities Director, her loving care and fun spirit was a blessing to the residents and their families.

She lived her life full of Faith, Joy and Happiness, always placing the needs of others before her own.

Jacki had the gift of a beautiful voice which she shared throughout Florida at church services and Florida Prisons as she traveled with her Dad sharing the his testimony, representing the Jim Russo Prison Ministry.

Jackie resided in Aliso Viejo, California at the time of her passing, with her Son and his family.

Jackie is predeceased by; baby daughter Renee Davis, Mother Betty J. Russo, Father Rev James J. Russo and Brother James P. Russo.

She is survived by; Daughter Danielle L. Davis, Son Donald P. Davis, four Grandsons; Dylan, Leo, Isaac & Dean Davis, Sister Laura Russo, Niece Nicole Mattox, Nephew T.J. Nutter and wife Angela, Grand Niece and Nephew Bryn & Ty Nutter and many Russo Cousins.

Memorial services are as follows:

Visitation and Memorial: Sunday 9/7, 5-7 PM, Pacific View Memorial Chapel, Corona Del Mar. Ca.

Visitation: Tuesday 9/9, 5-7 PM, Manasota Memorial Chapel, Bradenton, Fl.

Grave side service: Wednesday 9/10, 11:00 AM, Manasota Memorial Mausoleum Rotunda.
