JAMES MICHAEL BOYLE (Jim) residing in Bradenton, FL was called to his eternal home at the age of 77 on May 3, 2026. He was born in Toledo, OH on January 28, 1949. The family later moved to Kalamazoo, MI and then to Rochester, NY where Jim graduated from Franklin High and attended classes at Monroe Community College. He later went on to serve his country in the U. S. Army as a company clerk with Army Security and stationed at Ft. Meade, MD. It was during that time that he met his wife Carolyn who was a volunteer with the U.S.O. in Baltimore. On May 19, 1973, Jim married the love of his life and they began their 53 years of marriage and raising a family.
Jim’s early years of work included a paper route and then collection work for an insurance company. After discharge from the Army, he began a long career in Financial Planning and Insurance with his own company, Boyle, Denton & Young, until they dissolved. Later he became involved in mortgage brokering which gave him the opportunity to move from MD to Florida.
Jim’s real passions in life were his children Carrie Anne and Timothy Michael but he was also extremely happy when he was able to sing, especially music to God’s glory.
Jim is survived by his wife Carolyn (nee Fickus) and children Carrie and her husband Tony Hidalgo and Tim and his wife Melissa (nee White). He was preceded in death by both parents, Barry D. Boyle and W. Jeanne (nee Gramer), as well as sisters Peggy and Sally and brother Charles.
Jim is in the care of Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home and a Memorial Service will be held at Oneco Hope Global Methodist Church, date and time to be posted as soon as that has been finalized.
