James Ronnie Shaver

Ronnie was born in Nicholas County, West Virginia to Chester Shaver and Agnes McQueen on 05/12/1947. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cookouts, cracking jokes, anything outdoors, daily lunch dates with the love of his life, and above all he loved and thoroughly enjoyed the company of friends and family. He knew no stranger and had no enemies, as everyone who met him loved him dearly.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sheila D. Shaver, his 3 daughters: Rhonda Thomas (Eddie), Melissa Davis (Robert), and Jami Ceron, along with 4 grandchildren he and his wife raised as their own: Brandon Walsh (Megan), Jacqueline Williams (Donald), James R. Shaver II, and Joseph Ceron. He is also survived by 1 brother and 3 sisters: Larry Shaver, Judy Buckland (Lee), Drema Marx (Randy), and Penny Shaver (Dave), along with 9 more grandchildren: Amber, Ashley, JR, Aisha, Selena, Gloria, Bryan, Sean, and Austin along with 14 great grandchildren and many other family members not mentioned that Ronnie loved and adored. He is preceded in death by his mother, Agnes McQueen, father, Chester Shaver, brothers, Bob Shaver and Junior Shaver, and his sister, Fran Williams.

Funeral service will be held at Robert Toale & Sons at Manasota Memorial Parks, 1221 53rd Ave. East, Bradenton, FL 34203 on Monday 07/31/2023 from 5-8pm.
