She was born in Youngstown, Ohio; raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas and spent most of the rest of her life in Bradenton, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Straitwell, Sr.
She is survived by her loving son, Ryan Miller; mother and stepfather, John and Helen Lazar; stepmother, Jacqui Straitwell; brother and sister-in-law, William and Wendy Straitwell, Jr; sister, Diane Straitwell; brother, James Straitwell; and numerous other family and friends.
Jan loved and lived for her Savior, Jesus Christ, her entire life. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Her Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Saturday, December 27, 2014.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM with interment to follow.
