John was a member of Providence Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Bradenton. He was an industrial and manufacturing engineer. He resided in Delavan, Wisconsin, for over twenty years, where he and his wife Geziena had four children. John and his family moved to Huntsville, Alabama, in 1968, where his numerous career accomplishments included designing and producing equipment for the NASA Space Shuttle program. John and his wife retired to Bradenton in 1995.
He is survived by his loving wife Geziena Van Dyken Bultman; children Deborah Bultman; Barry Bultman and his wife Patricia; Sean Bultman and his wife Cynthia; his eldest daughter-in-law Patsie Bultman; his sister Dorothy Reyenga; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his eldest son, Leon Bultman; parents Louis and Hattie Bultman and sister Gertrude Drost.
